ISA committees bring directors, leadership and volunteers together to oversee important areas of Indiana Standardbred racing and create programs, services and opportunities for ISA members.
ISA committees meet throughout the year to provide guidance, develop initiatives and oversee programs that support members and advance Indiana's Standardbred racing industry.
The ISA Executive Committee provides overall leadership for the association and represents the organization's executive officers.
Oversees the health clinic, chiropractor, chaplain and other backside services at Hoosier Park, while also evaluating emergency assistance for members facing unforeseen circumstances.
Provides guidance and support for facility upgrades and improvements benefiting horsemen and the backstretch community.
Represents breeders, owners and sales through negotiations, incentives and initiatives designed to increase opportunities and strengthen Indiana Standardbred racing.
Establishes committee and project budgets while managing an annual budget exceeding $1 million and exploring new opportunities to support Indiana racing and ISA members.
Provides monetary assistance to ISA members and their immediate families pursuing higher education. More than $750,000 has been distributed toward education needs since 2010.
Established in 2024 to improve communication and coordination between ISA and the state commission, while addressing issues that arise during the racing season.
Provides guidance and support for Indiana's 10-site fair circuit and its racing sessions, including programs, support staff, promotions and promotional giveaways.
Supports non-profit organizations across Indiana, including equine-related projects and agricultural programs that benefit communities and the industry.
Develops programs and activities that enhance member benefits, including complimentary feeds, communications and the ISA text blast program.
Meets with track management and officials to address member concerns, improve relations and provide guidance regarding racetrack and facility improvements.
Oversees ISA magazines, the annual stallion guide, website content and social media updates highlighting Indiana performers, events and member information.
