Nominations are out for the Indiana Standardbred Association (ISA) Board of Directors. A total of five “At Large” positions will be filled this fall for the 2027 term, which lasts three years.
A total of 10 candidates have declared interest in being on the ISA Board. Of those 10, five are incumbents. Additional nominations will be accepted by the ISA Office by Thursday, September 10. According to the bylaws, each nomination must be accompanied by a petition in support of the candidate signed by at least 50 paid ISA member.
Those on the nomination list seeking election to the ISA Board of Directors includes Chad Clark, John DeLong, Joe Essig Jr., Rhys Helt, and Robert Taylor, all currently serving on the ISA Board. New candidates include Jeff Cullipher, Tyler George, Marcus Miller, Diane Reeser, and Curtis Townsend. The nominating committee of the ISA Board will oversee the process. The election of officers is done by a third party and conducted by mail-in ballots.
A total of five directors are elected each year to the ISA Board.
