Eden Standardbreds will offer some impressive yearlings at the upcoming Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale. The consignment consists of nine yearlings, two of which are agent entered yearlings with the very first horse from their consignment a hot prospect in the trotting ranks.
Spicey Edge, a daughter of Swan for All, sells as Hip No. 30. The filly is the latest foal from the Cantab Hall mare Alexandria Hanover, who has an impressive two-year-old colt this season in Indiana named High Honor Role. The lightly raced son of Helpisontheway has a record of 1:57.3 and has been competing in Indiana Sires Stakes action. On down the page of the Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale catalog includes several top racehorses featuring Picture Seelster (1:54.1, $436,000), For the Luva Moni (1:54.4, $400,000, and Paige Seelster (1:56.4, $166,000). Spicey Edge is in line to join a highly talented maternal line and is staked outside of Indiana in Grand Circuit action.
Representing the pacing side of Eden Standardbreds consignment is the Tellitlikeitis filly Ms Fancy, selling as Hip No. 290. She is the third foal from the Rockin Image mare Ms Glitter Sparkls, who also has a foal earning money and wins this season. Always a Card, a daughter of Always a Virgin, has a mark of 1:50.2 taken at Scioto Downs and earnings of more than $70,000. She raced Monday night at Dayton Raceway.
Eden Standardbreds also has a first foal pacing prospect that will garner a lot of attention. Amazing Blue, selling as Hip No. 337, is a daughter of JK Endofanera and is the first foal from the American ideal mare Protect Blue Chip, a winner in 1:52.1 with more than $320,000 in earnings. She is a full sister to Americanfirewater, a winner in 1:50.1 with more than $575,000. Amazing Blue is also heavily staked outside of the state, including stops such as the Little Brown Jug, Breeders Crown, and the Adios.
