Slabach Brothers offering eight at MSHS

Slabach Brothers Standardbreds are putting the final touches on the yearlings headed to the sales this fall. A total of nine are headed to the Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale (MSHS) Oct. 15 and 16 with an additional six earmarked for the Northern Indiana Yearling Speed Sale November 9 and 10.
Headlining the group in the MSHS is Hip No. 200 Skyway Heat Check, a colt from first crop sire Rebuff. The yearling is the first living foal from the Sebastian K mare Heat Wave Hanover, who has a mark of 1:54.3. She has quite the resume as a half-sister to Hockey Hanover, a winner in 1:50.4 with more than a half million on his card. The next generation of the mare displays numerous standout six-figure performers including Hot Mess Hanover, the same of the great Jiggy Jog S, a winner in 1:49.2 with over $3 million on his card.
Another yearling who will garner attention is Skyway Ms Juju selling as Hip No. 289. The filly is from the first crop of Jujubee and she is the latest foal from the Donato Hanover mare Ms American Muscle, who has produced two winners from two foals. The second and third dams include several stakes winners.
Slabach Brothers Standardbreds will be located in Aisle 6 for the MSHS at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Heading to the Northern Indiana Yearling Speed Sale is six yearlings, including a filly from first crop sire Loubet. Betyourlive is the third foal from Glow Stick, a winner of more than $225,000 with a mark of 1:51.3. The family has depth with the second dam producing 15 winners from 17 foals.
